Concrete is formed by a chemical reaction between Portland cement and water, resulting in a beautiful stone product. Like any other stone product, it should be cared for in the same way. It is stain and scratch-resistant and should be treated as a high-end finish in your home, similar to wood, granite, or marble.

Our concrete is designed for high performance, and is not your typical driveway or foundation wall concrete. It has a lower water content which achieves a much higher strength, and is mixed with specialized additives to increase flexural strength and decrease porosity. Additionally, most of our products contain glass fibers to provide structural strength and crack resistance. We also use fine particles as binding material, creating a tighter matrix of concrete. Each piece is designed for the intended use, and our mix designs are tailored to meet specific requirements. All of our products are cast in a temperature-controlled environment, ensuring consistent, high-quality results.

In our products, we use fiber-reinforced concrete that doesn’t require traditional steel rebar. This not only increases the strength and durability of our concrete, but also makes our products lighter in weight.

We offer a wide selection of over 30 signature colours for you to choose from! All of our products are made using integral color, meaning the color runs throughout the product and not just on the surface.

While the nature of concrete is somewhat unpredictable, this is also one of its attractive properties as every piece is unique. However, we strive to limit as many variables as possible in the casting process to achieve colours that are very close to our samples.

Not at this time. We offer 31 colors variations to fit most every design. You may purchase samples here to make sure its the right color for you.

Color degradation occurs through  UV light exposure and since this sink will be nestled safely in your bathroom there will be no color loss for the life of your sink.

Between the pigment being throughout the mixture and the excellent sealer on the sink, there will be no color change. 

Yes the sinks are sealed. There are two main types of sealers: penetrative/reactive and topical. We use only professional-grade sealers that are recognized and used by experts worldwide. 

Pinholes on or slightly below the surface of your sink are voids that arise from the migration of entrapped water or air during the casting and curing procedures.

But don’t worry, they’re just cosmetic and won’t affect your sink integrity or its durability.

Our sinks comply with ADA but we always recommend you check your local building codes.

Our sinks are designed to be installed in a powder room, washroom and laundry rooms.

They can be top mounted to an existing surface; paired with one of our vanity stands (built in collaboration with Forge 53); or wall mounted with our signature bracket.  

Since all Crete Collective Ltd. items are made-to-order, we regret that cancellations, returns, or exchanges are not permitted once an order has been confirmed. Typically the lead time for  production and shipment is 3-6 weeks.

The sinks fit up to 1.6″ (1 5/8) drain assemblies. 

Ensure it is a waste drain with “no overflow” which is typical for surface mount vessel sinks.

This is more of a personal preference. But we advise you to review our spec sheets for height dimensions. These can be discussed with an expert at a plumbing showroom in your local area.

Once your sink has been produced (2-3 weeks) you can expect shipping times to be:

CANADA: 1-5 days

USA: 1-2 weeks

Everywhere else: 2-4 weeks

We package our sinks safely with custom formed foam and a sturdy box that gets delivered right to your door!

All of our sinks are designed to be easy to install by you or your plumber. You can also see our how-to-install a crete sink real on our instagram.

You can purchase wall brackets through our store which your sink will sit on. This bracket will get fastened to your wall and is easy to install.

The bracket has fourteen holes to accommodate different spacing of frame work.

You will only need 4-6 fasteners at most during mounting.   

The sealer on every one of our sinks offers excellent stain and scratch resistance, similar to natural stone products such as granite. However, proper care and the use of non-abrasive cleaners are crucial to maintain the beauty of your concrete product.

Our concrete samples are for representation purposes only, to display an idea of color and material characteristics before ordering. While samples are partially sealed, final products are fully sealed to achieve a durable and protective finish.

Our samples are individually cast and are as unique as the final products. Slight variations in colour, appearance and texture can occur between samples and final products

The sealer applied to all Crete sinks is crafted to last for many years. Wear and tear such as scratches and discoloration are part of the natural aging process.

Depending on each individual’s use, the sealer will last upwards of 15+ years

All applicable import duties and taxes of the shipping destination are at the responsibility of the purchaser to be paid upon receipt, typically via the carrier (FedEx, UPS, DHL), known as Delivery Duty Unpaid (DDU) shipping.

Indeed, we do request a signature upon delivery for any shipment exceeding a value of $200. This measure is implemented to guarantee the secure receipt of high-value items. Tracking information is provided for all shipments, and it is the responsibility of the recipient or a designated authorized agent to ensure that packages are accepted upon arrival.
